Our Projects

Service of Faith and Promotion of Justice through a preferential option for the poor would remain only a dream unless they were translated into concrete action plans. Hence the Jesuits of Karnataka are engaged in a multiplicity of activities in educational, spiritual, developmental, social and intellectual ministries, in urban centres and rural hamlets where they run several institutions to spread literacy, attempt conscientization, give health care, establish self-help groups, conduct retreats and spiritual seminars, organize leadership programmes, create awareness, initiate income generating programmes, small savings schemes and to organize people to fight for their rights. We also have Centres where we impart skills to young people in order to enhance their employment potential and thus empower them through education and skills training. We also spread awareness of health and hygiene and fight against endemic diseases and malnutrition and infant mortality as well as the scourge of HIV/AIDS in the villages and cities.
