Loyola Pre-Novitiate, Mangaluru is a formation house of the Karnataka Jesuit Province dedicated to accompanying young men who are discerning a vocation to the Society of Jesus. Named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, the house provides an environment conducive to prayer, discernment, study, and personal growth.

The pre-novitiate programme at Loyola focuses on helping candidates deepen their relationship with God, develop human and emotional maturity, and gain a clearer understanding of Jesuit life and mission. Through community living, spiritual accompaniment, academic enrichment, and exposure to apostolic ministries, pre-novices are encouraged to grow in faith, responsibility, and commitment.
