The Jesuit Community at Mount St. Joseph, Bengaluru, is the Novitiate of the Karnataka Jesuit Province and a centre for the initial formation of young men discerning a vocation to the Society of Jesus. Established in 1959, the serene campus on Bannerghatta Road has been a place of prayer, discernment, community living, and spiritual growth for generations of Jesuits. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition, the community accompanies novices in their journey of formation through spiritual exercises, academic learning, pastoral exposure, and service to the poor.
