Loyola School, Manvi

Loyola School, Manvi was founded in 2004 and is managed by the Fathers of the Society of Jesus, popularly known as the Jesuits. The Society of Jesus is a Catholic Religious Order founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540 in Rome and has been actively involved in the field of education throughout the world since its origin. At present, the Society of Jesus is responsible for more than 150 schools and colleges in India, where over 215,000 young people belonging to different social backgrounds, communities, and linguistic groups are being educated.

Loyola School, Manvi is a Religious Minority Institution administered by members of the Catholic Christian community. Though primarily intended to impart Catholic education to Catholic children, the school is open to all without distinction of caste, creed, colour, or language.

The school comes under the management of the North Karnataka Jesuit Educational and Charitable Society, Mundgod, North Kanara District. The President of the Governing Body is the Rev. Fr. Provincial of the Karnataka Jesuit Province.
