A Journey Rooted in Vision and Service
The history of Loyola School, Sindagi began in 2011 as Loyola KG School at the ‘Sangama’ Social Work Centre near Jnana Bharati School, Sindagi. Established with the vision of bringing quality and transformative education to the region, the institution initially started on a modest scale but steadily grew with the support of Jesuit leadership and the local community.
In 2013, the school was shifted to its present campus, marking an important milestone in its development. Construction work for the new school building commenced on 16 October 2013, reflecting the institution’s commitment to creating a modern and nurturing environment for learning
The founding vision of the institution was led by Rev. Fr. Lawrence Pinto SJ, whose dedication laid the foundation for the growth of Loyola School. He was succeeded by Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, followed by other Jesuit administrators who continued to strengthen the institution’s mission and educational outreach.
A landmark moment in the school’s history came on 8 March 2014, when the newly constructed independent school building was formally dedicated to the students. The occasion was attended by several distinguished guests including Most Rev. Dr. Robert Miranda, Bishop of Gulbarga, Mr. Oscar Fernandes, former Union Minister, Mr. M. B. Patil, former Minister of Irrigation, Government of Karnataka, along with Jesuit leaders, benefactors, and well-wishers.
