Vision

Companions of Jesus journeying with others towards building a just and humane society.

Inspired by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Karnataka Jesuit Province envisions a society where human dignity is upheld, justice prevails, and all people live in harmony with one another and with creation.

As companions of Jesus, we seek to walk with individuals and communities, especially those on the margins, fostering hope, reconciliation, and holistic human development.

Mission

Rooted in Christ and in partnership with people of good will, transforming relationships and structures to build a society based on compassion, justice, reconciliation and service.

The Karnataka Jesuit Province carries out its mission through education, pastoral ministry, social outreach, youth accompaniment, spiritual formation, ecological stewardship, and interreligious dialogue.

Guided by Ignatian spirituality and working collaboratively with people of goodwill, we strive to transform lives and communities, promote social justice, empower the marginalized, and contribute to building a more compassionate and inclusive world.
